Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:35 AM Tuesday March 6, 2018 to a report of a hit-and-crash with injuries, 42°03’45.6″N 88°01’42.6″W (SB I-290/Il-53 and Algonquin Road Schaumburg, Il). Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a person was injured in a silver car that was hit by another car that was driven away from the scene.
Firefighter/paramedics on arrival reported they have a crashed vehicle on the right shoulder of SB Route 53 directly over Algonquin Road.
The offending vehicle was described as a black 2011 Mercedes Benz E350 with heavy front end damage. The driver was described as a female/white 5’7″ 155 LBS.
